  • Yet another forest-fire summer has ended, so the sunrises, and
  • sunsets are not as colorful.  Thankfully.  These diurnal events are, well, a different kind of colorful now.
  • Cloud jellyfish (?)
  •  
  • Got out of the pool a few weeks back, dripping wet of course, and left a … footprint donkey? or kangaroo? on the poolside deck.
  • The dog was out on the porch one night, & left some (uh…) evidence.  I went out to clean this up, but this BEAST had apparently taken ownership of aforesaid feces, guarding it … so i cleaned it up later.
  • Out and up at “Zombie Road” (no, you probably won’t find THAT on local-area maps) — on a run/ride.  Dogs are following me up the road near Land’s End Road, and lookin’ west from this angle.
  • Mount Garfield to the north.
  • and the Uncompahgre Plateau in the distance.  Desert solitude !
